Trialistapp helps non-league football players and clubs find each other. This page says what we collect and why. It is written to be read, not to cover us.
Clubs that have claimed their card see your first name, your postcode area (for example BR1), your distance from their ground, your positions, history, and your photo and clip if you have added them. They see your full name and can message you once you have matched.
Your full postcode and email address are never shown to clubs.
Coaches and agents can apply for an account. They must say who they work for and confirm their email address before they see any player, and we can suspend an account at any time.
Your full postcode and email address are never shown to coaches or agents.
Club cards are built from public league tables and club websites, then corrected by the club when it claims the card. Claiming needs a name, email and password, plus your role at the club.
A club that has the club page switched on can add text, a logo, a photo and details of its other teams. Everything on that page is public, including any contact names, phone numbers and email addresses the club adds.
A name, email and password, the club or agency you work for, your role, a postcode and phone number, and for agents an FA registration number. Players you ask to talk to see your name, who you work for, your role and that registration number. Your postcode, phone number and email address are not shown to them.
We email you to confirm your address, reset a password, and when a club, player, coach or agent wants to talk to you. We do not send marketing. Emails go through Mailjet or our own mail server.
Every player card, club card, trial and conversation has a Report link. We read every report, and we can take content down and suspend accounts. The person you report is not told who reported them.
If you install the Trialistapp app and allow notifications, your phone gives us a device token so we can send them. It is deleted when you log out or delete your account. The app only notifies you about the same things we email you about.
"Use my location" in the app reads your position once, when you tap it, to fill in your postcode. We store the postcode, not the position, and we never track where you are.
Data is stored on our servers in the UK or EU. You can delete your account from your profile or account page at any time: your profile, photo, clip, matches and messages go with it straight away. The log of emails and notifications we sent you is kept for 90 days. Club cards built from public sources stay, because they are public.
Two cookies, both to keep you logged in: one for the visit, one so this device stays logged in for 90 days. Nothing for advertising.
Questions or requests about your data: use the contact page, or reply to any email we have sent you.
